Wall Brace
Basement wall brace systems are a type of foundation repair solution used to stabilize the walls of a basement that have been damaged by soil pressure. The system involves the installation of steel beams or plates along the interior of the basement walls and the attachment of brackets to the beams or plates and the floor joists above. The beams or plates provide additional support to the walls, helping to counteract the soil pressure and prevent further movement or damage.
Basement wall brace systems are typically used in cases where the walls have bowed or shifted, causing cracking, leaning, or other structural damage. They are a reliable and effective solution for stabilizing basement walls and can often be installed with minimal disruption to the basement or its surroundings. In many cases the wall braces can be installed between framing to allow for drywall to be installed right over the brace.
